Fourth Friday: Meet Daniel & Alina Bocancea of the Bucharest Project!

Fourth Friday: Meet Daniel & Alina Bocancea of the Bucharest Project!

We are excited to share the Bucharest Project with you!

Bucharest, the capital and largest city of Romania, is a vibrant city with 2.3 million people. Known as “Little Paris” (Micul Paris) due to its elegant architecture and sophistication, it’s a creative city rich in history and culture. It’s a place that draws people with the promise of a better life. Many come to start new careers in education, business, and the arts. Bucharest has a high number of students who immigrate to study, many of whom stay because they love the city. However, as a city that was once part of the communist regime, Bucharest still bears the scars of that period which robbed so many people of their hopes and dreams.

Daniel and Alina hope to build a new church that is at the heart of society and introduces people to Jesus and His church — a place where people can become more like Jesus, experience real freedom and transformation, and belong to a community marked by grace, truth, and the fullness of joy.

You

Thank you for your partnership! Here are some ways you can partner in ministry this month:

  • We need your help. If you are interested in partnering financially for either of these churches, follow the links throughout this email to give!
  • If your church wants to explore a partnership to help plant these churches, reach out to Luke Greer and he can tell you more.
  • Take a moment to pray for the Bocancea family, their staff and leadership teams, and the city of Bucharest.
  • Take a moment to thank God for all the new churches He is forming all around the world!
  • Forward this email to a friend! We always want the number of prayer partners to be growing for these new churches and their communities.
