The Latest — A Growing Team

We are excited to announce the addition of two new staff members to Orchard Group!

Tanner Green will begin serving in September as Regional Director for New England. Tanner has been serving as the Founding and Lead Pastor for SouthPointe Christian Church near Providence, RI for the past nine years. He's also served on the Board of Directors for Restoration House Ministries for seven years, with the last three years as board President. Tanner is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University and recently completed a Doctor of Ministry degree through Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has a passion for church planting and for New England.

Tanner’s responsibilities will include identifying new church planting candidates, generating new partnerships, overseeing Management Teams for new churches, and nurturing community among church leaders in the six New England states. Tanner, his wife Bethany, and their three children will be relocating to the Boston area soon!

Paolo Hugo will begin serving in September as Media Coordinator. Originally from the Philippines, Paolo then moved to the U.S. and spent his teen years in New Jersey. After attending the University of Washington, Paolo started serving with — and eventually joined the staff of — Icon Church in Seattle.

Paolo has a spectacular gift for capturing stories through photography and video, and is excited about furthering the mission of church planting by creatively communicating life change through new churches. Paolo will be relocating to the Boston area next year!

Both of these additions will strengthen our renewed focus on church planting in New England while also improving the way we support church planters and cooperate with partner churches across the country and around the world.

• Please be praying over the next few months for the new churches that will be launching in Greater Miami, Baltimore, Oakland, New Hampshire, West Palm, Manhattan, and Camden. There are more new churches staged to launch this year than any previous year in our history!
